Welcome to The Video Effect (www.thevideoeffect.tv). We provide video editing, production services, tutorials, tips, and resources for creators. Protecting your privacy is important to us.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect your personal information. It complies with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR, as amended by the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025), the Data Protection Act 2018, the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR, as amended), and other UK data protection laws.

2. How We Use Your Data & Lawful Bases

No automated decision-making or profiling with significant effects.

We keep data only as needed:

  • Order/contract data: Up to 6 years (tax/legal).

  • Newsletter data: Until unsubscribe.

  • Technical/usage data: Usually 12 months.

Then securely deleted or anonymised.
